Caversham Wildlife Park

Assalamualaikum

Entry ni untuk kita lebih mengenali makhluk Allah yang lain. Teringat waktu pergi Caversham Wildlife Park located in Whiteman Park, Western Australia. To be exact, this wildlife park located partly from the Whiteman Park. Tempat ni memang besar dan anda confirm boleh sesat. So, make sure your kids were within your sight. Anyhow, Aussie sangat friendly and I love the sky! Haha. Yes. Dalam banyak-banyak benda, I love to snap the sky. With less cloud and superb lighting, the pictures can speak in so many wayyyys. Trust me, I love nature and it calms me the most. Nature makes you closes to Allah the Almighty and reminds you of every beautiful pieces on Earth. Okay, back to the topic.

Caversham wildlife park is privately owned and was operated by Western Australian families. We got to met Mr David Thorne, the owner of Caversham wildlife park. Of course, while typing this entry, we just knew that the person whom drove us to the park used to be an owner to this park. Bravo Mr David! Since this was the only zoo that we went, so we highly recommended the park. Bahaha. This uncle was super friendly and super nice since all the way from the Whiteman Park - Caversham, he was being very helpful and fyi, this uncle amazed us when he can speak Malay. I know, I know. His malay wasn't that good but at least, not everyone can spell TANDAS clearly, right? Mr David, you are awesome! No wonder this wildlife has become a great success in Western Australia. They opened the park back in 1980's and currently operating in the Whiteman Park. Since the CWP was privately owned, they didn't receive any funding from their government, so they'll surely treat you to the utmost. But if they didn't, don't blame me for giving such info's okay. Haha.

The admission fee per entry is AUD24/pax and for children is AUD10. If you had authorized WA pass or anything related to WA, you might get cheaper fees. We even tried to claimed for students price since we had a valid student card but hey, you're not in Malaysia. Bahaha. Bab nak mengelat memang pandai. First and foremost, there's an option to go here and we took the simplest route since we had no transport yet. Fret not, as WA is all about freeway and can be easily reachable with their public transport -TRANSPERTH- we took our first train at the Perth City and heading towards the Midland. The best thing is, you get to used the ticket for any bus, train and ferry under the Transperth brand. It's worth every penny since you can used it to the max! We hop off at Bassendean station after having funny conversation with the guards there - we happily stop at Midland station and thought that we finally arrived, yet we was wrong. Seriously, we just follow whatever direction given in the blog and somehow, we still lost. Haha. It shows that theories are not applicable sometime. You just have to follow your gut. From Bassendean, just wait for the free bus and if you got confused, do not hesitate to ask. They definitely will assist you, I hope. Please mention the CWP name once you stepped into the bus so that the driver could assist you better.

Say hello to whiteman!
Now you've arrived at your destination and what's the next step? As I've mentioned earlier, Whiteman Park was hugeeee and it is possible to walk towards your destination but, if you care for your foot, just give them a call and someone will pick you up. Nahhh, they dropped you off the bus to the doorstep of CWP. Next thing to do - spent your time with the animals and make sure it'll be part of your precious memories. Oh by the way, if you visit CWP during summer or end of spring, be ready to be a fighter! Haha. Too many flies and it's very very very annoying to have flies buzzing around you while snapping a pictures. Don't get me wrong after reading this and to be exact, the flies is all over Australia when it's summer time. Once you're in CWP, don't missed out their main attraction - Farm Show and Meet the Wombat & Friends where you can snap pictures without extra charges. During our visit to the farm show, the moo moo was poo poo in the middle of the show -.- Whatever it is, let the pictures do the talking. If you were planning to visit Perth soon, do visit Caversham Wildlife Park and you can meet numerous animals that represent Australia or maybe you can drop by here in Perth Zoo :)

So uncle David, thanks for the great assistance and friendliness that you've shown. If you are reading this or might possibly bump into this review, we wished that you were doing great with your family and your businesses too! You might want to polish your Malay so that you can attract more visitors. Hope you're grinning from ear to ear while reading this. We can even remembered that you gave us a joke on Mat Saleh and do visit Malaysia more often, it's the biggest Tahun Melawat Malaysia this year so bring your families too! :)
