Two Day Babysitter

Assalamualaikum

While typing this, badan sangat lenguh-lenguh and super penat. I guessed being a babysitter is definitely a challenge. Budak-budak sekarang makin advance. Tangan tak pernah nak lepas smartphone and tab. Haih. Memang totally different with the previous generation. Should we let them played with the technology and leave the rest undiscovered or balance both technology and real life equally and enjoy every second of life. It may sound easy; having kids and no hassles in the air, but it was totally wrong! Seriously. 

Babysit while cooking? Pergh. The kitchen suddenly turns into a battle zone where we - me and my lil sis- need to cook and entertained them at the same time. No wonder la adults tak suka kids wander and play around them while they are busy handling the wok and pan. It's dangerous, almost everywhere! Sorang nak mengacau, sorang nak tukang potong. Then suddenly they ran up and down the house and suddenly, they appeared in front of you. Haih. I wonder how mother's out there could nailed it. What's more annoying and makes us gelabah a bit was - when they kept on asking whether it's ready or not. Ran here and there and all of a sudden - makngah, is it ready? - Entah bila la dorang hilang then tiba-tiba ada balik. Lucky me, sebab dorang suka makan the flavourless boiled macaroni and that's what makes them behave properly. Haha. Rasuah gula-gula tanak diam tapi bagi macaroni terus baik je. Pelik -.-

How to handle them when they kept on insisting on your smartphone? 

• Ask them to watch movies - in my case, we watched the horror movie. Haha. Nasib dorang tak kencing malam tau.
• The smartphone is ran out of battery and sometimes, if they keep on arguing, I removed the battery away from the phone. Bahaha. - It works sometime!
• Secure the smartphone with the password or anything. Oh yes! Don't ever reveal your password in front of them. They could scan and even memorize it in a glimpse. Jangan underestimate kids tau!
• Put away everything and hide it somewhere - so that it is not reachable to them.
• Persuade them with food food and food! Well, it works for me. 
• Last resort? Bawa dorang jalan-jalan shopping mall or the playground! Confirm susah nak ajak balik after a while -.-

That's how I handled them. Bukan tak bagi dorang main game, but it's surely not good for their growth and development. Pantang nampak smartphone bersepah, laju je tangan nak ambil kan. Sigh. Kids. Nasib zaman dulu tak ada benda-benda macam ni. Kadang-kadang bila berjalan, time tengah main game dekat smartphone pon boleh ada budak datang tengok dan ada yang siap menempel macam kenal je kan. Bahaha. Nak join sekaki ke dik? Budak-budak tak elok main game, orang dewasa tak apa. Haha.

Entri ni just nak share how to dealt with kids. Lagi-lagi bila zaman serba nak canggih ni. Even smartphone and tab boleh dibeli with cheaper price. Budak-budak ni anak cousin merangkap anak saudara la kan? We kidnapped them for awhile since dorang punya abang dah berkampung kat rumah. Yang kecik tak boleh kidnap sebab nanti confirm menangis memanjang. They can be adorable and annoying at the same time. I guessed, this is how us behave few years back. Jadi jangan nak complain macam-macam. Bila dah berkumpul ni, memang rumah kemain meriah la. Bila siang bising, bila malam, yang akak-akak ni pula pening kepala - berharap dorang tak kencing malam. Haha.

Part paling best bila dorang nak join solat. Wahaha. Happy gila bila budak-budak ni join solat sekali. Agak-agak macam itu kot perasaan mak-mak bila tengok anak dia bersolat. Tak betul tak apa, tapi biar budak-budak diajar dari kecil. Practice makes perfect, kan? :)

Bila jaga budak-budak ni, baru rasa macam mana mak-mak jaga anak. Haih. Exhausted and tiring! Pity mommies around the world sebab sacrifice time and energy jaga anak-anak. Mama selalu cakap "anak tiga orang pon dah pening kepala, apa lagi kalau anak berderet." Haha. Mekasih mama and papa! So kids, kadang-kadang kena bagi parent dating berdua tau! *Mesti mama papa senyum je baca*

Ingatkan orang dewasa je berminat tanya bila nak kahwin, rupanya budak-budak ni pon berminat nak tanya. Haih. Tak sabar nak jadi flowergirl kata si akak. Insha Allah dik oi :)
